Rangers need to start ticking the boxes on the job list of fans are going to be able to put all their support behind Philippe Clement.
The manager has had to contend with no CEO providing top level support, no academy director to liaise with over potential prospects and no Ibrox to play in either.
Fans will be back in Ibrox soon but the appointment of a CEO to replace James Bisgrove is paramount, with the last few days finally seeing some movement including Adrian Bevington seeming to throw his hat into the ring.

Adrian Bevington makes Rangers CEO job claim
The former Club England managing director has been speaking to The Daily Record and has claimed that contact has already been made with Rangers:
“They are a huge club – a football institution – with a global fan base so of course I would always be happy to have a conversation if they wanted to have a conversation with me,” said Bevington.
“If that takes us anywhere? That’s a different set of circumstances and it’s important for myself to be extremely respectful to the people in office in Ibrox as well.
“I’m not trying to pull anything on with them but would I be willing to have a conversation with them? Of course I would.
“I do know one or two people in and around Rangers. I made some initial contact quite some time ago now but I have not had any dialogue with Rangers with regard to this position.”
It couldn’t be any easier for the board.
After Jim Gillespie “pulled out” of the race, Rangers appeared to be back at square one.
Rangers have easy decision to make for new CEO
At the FA, Bevington will have met and worked with major players from across Europe and around the globe, he will also have close contacts in England at club level.
That Bevington also knows individuals at board level at Rangers is an additional bonus.
From the outside, given the speculation surrounding Gillespie, it’s almost as if the board have set their sights too low and not truly believed that they could land a figure like Bevington.
The former FA man of 20 years couldn’t have been more open in terms of his interest in the vacancy and John Bennett would be negligent if he didn’t at least have a proper conversation about the role, what would he expected and potential remuneration.
Bennett would be making his job easier overnight if he had a right-hand man with experience of working in elite level football and Bevington – in the word’s of Talksport’s David Tanner – is highly regarded and a completely different level to anything Rangers have had before.
