Rangers’ two biggest stars on loan this season have to be Ianis Hagi and Alex Lowry.

Alex Lowry is undisputedly the best-performing Rangers player out on loan this season. He’s doing very well in the Scottish Premiership for Hearts.

It’s been hit-and-miss for Ianis Hagi. He has mostly been utilised as a substitute for Alaves – only scoring two goals.

So how did the duo get on over the weekend? Here’s how they fared for their loaned clubs. All stats are sourced from Sofa Score.

Another lacklustre display from the Romanian. His mediocre season continues in Spain away from Glasgow.

He was a 74th-minute substitute and failed to make any sort of impact when coming on for the La Liga side.

Hagi just can’t seem to force his way into the starting XI. This probably wasn’t what he anticipated moving away from Ibrox and will naturally be frustrated. However, he will still be on top of the world following the international break.

Alex Lowry managed 67 minutes in Heart’s 1-0 win in the Scottish Premiership. He didn’t register any goals or assists.

He started the game, which has been a regular occurrence all season. Impressive from the young man.

The 20-year-old did receive a 7.0 rating and continues his very decent season away from Ibrox with another good performance. Time to take note – Philippe Clement?
