Philippe Clement continues to be linked with a move back to Belgium with their national side.
The Rangers manager has been at the centre of speculation in recent weeks following the threat of the sack faced by head coach Domenico Tedesco by the Red Devils.
Tedesco’s side have struggled seriously in the Nations League with just four points from six matches which added to a seriously disappointing European Championships by their usual standards.
Fans and pundits around the country are now calling for his head and that has left open the question regarding who could potentially be his replacement.

Clement, the Belgian native who has worked in the country with big clubs including Brugge, is a man reportedly near the top of the FA’s list.
Vincent Mannaert, the incoming sporting director, previously worked with Clement and the link continues to garner attention.
Now, though, Simon Ferry has opted to throw in his tuppence worth on Open Goal’s YouTube channel.
The former Peterhead and Dundee midfielder, who hosts the channel, was discussing the potential for Clement to take over at Belgium and he offered a somewhat disrespectful take.
Si Ferry questioned Clement’s style at Rangers as a possible reason he would not be offered Belgium job
Pinpointing Manchester City and Belgium superstar Kevin de Bruyne and the midfielder’s influence on the country and squad, Ferry suggested that the 33-year-old might not be particularly excited to work with Clement.
The podcaster claimed the philosophy and style Rangers and Clement plays would not be enough to satisfy De Bruyne and could prevent the nation from approaching the manager.
“De Bruyne has got a massive say at Belgium,” Ferry said. “I can’t imagine De Bruyne looking at a Rangers game and going, ‘That’s how I want to play football’.
“He was quite vocal with the last coach and the style he played.”
What has Philippe Clement said about his own Rangers future
Clement recently signed a new Rangers contract which should rule out any more discussion about him moving away for his homeland.
The 50-year-old was also coy when asked about a possible exit for Anderlecht earlier this year.
“It’s really clear I engaged myself long-term for Rangers last month,” Clement told the press in late September.
“Whoever comes, whatever team comes, I’m not going to go away.
“Really clear. I want this project with the club to make it really successful for the future.
“We all know we need time for that, we need a few transfer windows for that, we need a lot of work to do for that.
“And that’s what I want to do because I love the city, I love the club, I love the dynamic at Ibrox with the fans, so I am here to stay, very clear.”
