Hibernian goalkeeper Ofir Marciano has admitted he loves coming to play at Ibrox, as quoted by the Edinburgh Evening News.
The Gers are taking on the Hibees in Govan on Sunday after both clubs got off to winning starts last weekend.
Connor Goldson’s injury-time header secured his team three points and earned him a spot in Darrell Currie and Chris Sutton’s Team of the Week, where he was joined by Scott Allan after his winner against St Mirren.

Marciano kept a clean sheet in that first outing and will be looking to help frustrate the Gers in their own backyard.

Hibernian goalkeeper praises Ibrox

The 29-year-old no.1, who moved to the Edinburgh club from Ashdod in 2017, made three starts against Stevie G’s men last season. He only ended up on the losing side in one of those fixtures and is looking forward to sampling the atmosphere again in Glasgow.
“For me personally, it’s the best experience in Scotland apart from the derbies”, said Marciano, as quoted by the Edinburgh Evening News. “To play at Ibrox is amazing.”

Verdict

It’s a little surprising to see a rival player have such positive words about Rangers in the build-up to a big fixture.
It’s not just the stadium he’s been impressed by recently, either. Gerrard is making strides on the pitch and that’s clear for all to see.
Having already got one over on Kilmarnock, it’s now time to erase bad memories of playing against Hibs.
After scoring just three times against them in four fixtures last season, it’s time to release the shackles and make a statement.
