Happy New Year from everyone at Rangers News

Everyone at Rangers News wants to take this opportunity to wish our readers and those who’ve contributed to our early success a very Happy New Year when it comes.

We’re charged with seeking out news, views, opinions and ideas which are valuable to Rangers supporters. We’re barely half a year old, but we’ve taken big steps in the first phase of this project.

This has been made so much easier by the unerring commitment of the fanbase to support the team and seek out news off the field. On the field – what a first half to the season it’s been.

I too have been overwhelmed by the progress of Rangers under Steven Gerrard and long may it continue. Big European nights, a wide open Scottish Premiership, a reignited passion amongst the fans. It’s been a great season so far and it might get even better. We’ll be covering it the entire way.

It was almost the perfect time to be charged with making a success of this site. And whilst we may still be finding our feet and voice (we’ve only been going since August) I think everyone connected to the site can be proud of our early progress.

But there’s plenty more to come.

We’re just getting started…

We are trying to produce something which you find valuable and which you enjoy reading as followers of the club. It’s a professional Rangers site ran by Rangers fans.

Whilst at times we’re not perfect, we are trying hard to produce something of value to Rangers supporters. Because above all else – the multitudes of work, the writing and competing in the media space – a passion for Rangers is what drives the site.

We are learning every day, but we hope you can see and feel our vision for the future of the website. A leading space for Rangers News with insight and eye-opening information from in and around the club.

We are working hard to achieve that. But it would not be possible without your support.

Thank you for reading, and we hope we can continue to grow and improve alongside our glorious football club and team.

Have a very Happy New Year.
