A Celtic fan has called into a popular radio phone-in show to claim that he hasn’t been able to face up to his family since Rangers beat Celtic 2-0.
The disconsolate fan called up Clyde One’s Superscoreboard to discuss the fall-out from Saturday’s emphatic victory at Celtic Park.

But he admits the shockwave has been so intense that he can’t even face up to the family whom he normally calls after every Old Firm match.
“I was devastated,” said caller James in Harrogate [Clyde One Superscoreboard 19/10/20].
“Absolutely devastated. Me and the family, we all phone each other after the game.
“We’ve not even spoke to each other yet. I’ve naw even spoke to my sisters, my brothers, nothing.
“Absolutely devastated.
“[When I do speak to them] I will just say if we win our game [in hand] we’re only one point behind.
“There’s still nine points to play against Rangers and Rangers seem to always slip up against the smaller teams, so it’s not over yet.”
Celtic fans as a whole have obviously not taken this result well with some even calling for the sacking of manager Neil Lennon.
There have been absolutely spectacular highlights on the famous Kerrydale Meltdown Twitter page and if you’ve got as spare five minutes it’s well worth scrolling through.
Rangers fans certainly enjoyed the victory but fans are well aware of indulging too much after past wins in recent seasons with attention quickly turning to the upcoming games.

Next up for Rangers is a trip to Standard Liege in the Europa League before they welcome stubborn Livingston to Ibrox on Sunday afternoon.
A former Rangers star has also been taking aim at a leading Celtic voice on the controversial show, slamming him for his attempts to create “clickbait”.
