Former Rangers midfielder turned pundit Alex Rae has gunned for Chris Sutton as he responded to claims the ex-Celtic striker made in the aftermath of the Old Firm defeat.
The pundit was talking on Clyde One Superscoreboard after a Rangers fan called into the show to discuss the comments of Sutton without directly naming him.

The caller had previously criticised Chris Sutton for describing the team Celtic put out against Rangers as a “reserve team”.
Alex Rae then jumped on this to describe Sutton’s opinion as irrelevant and advised the called to ignore the outspoken pundit.
“We all know how you’re talking about”, said Rae [Clyde One Superscoreboard 19/10/20].
“Don’t give it any credence, he’s looking for clickbait.
“For me, it’s about overlooking that and focusing on what’s important.
“Because he’s not that important in the grand scheme of things.”
Hugh Keevins would then describe Sutton as a “wind-up merchant” before quickly moving the discussion on from the ex-Chelsea forward.
Sutton drew the ire of the Rangers support with his salty comments as the Ibrox legions laughed off the suggestion Rangers had just played a reserve Celtic team.

Whilst it was undoubtedly weakened by the absence of several key players, this was a multi-million-pound squad which had no excuses for its abject display against the triumphant Rangers side.
Rangers won the first Old Firm derby of the season 2-0 courtesy of a Connor Goldson double to send the Gers four points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership.
