Rangers face Dundee at Ibrox on Saturday as the club returns to Scottish Premiership action.
After a stuttering start in their league campaign, Rangers will have been happy to catch a breath over the international break. Now, the club need to start getting points on the board. Starting with Dundee.
Neil McCann’s side are without a win but the ex-Rangers man shouldn’t expect any niceties on the pitch.
Fan are right to go into this one with optimism. But while it would be nice to see the net bulge a few times, we must simply come away with a win.
Real chance to get strikers firing and confidence up
This game presents a real opportunity for Rangers to get fans flying and player’s confidence up.
Dundee look bereft of confidence at the minute and have yet to even register a point let alone a win.
With Rangers looking like a tidy outfit, particularly at home, it’s a real chance to get the strikers firing and spread some goals around the team.
With an important run coming up domestically and in Europe, having the strikers firing on all cylinders is a must.
It’s been a while since we seen a rout at Ibrox too. It’d mean a lot to the fans.
Must win match for Rangers after stuttering start
Rangers will set up and play very differently tomorrow than what they will against Villarreal on Thursday.
Expect the team to set up to dominate, with the wingbacks flying and Rangers seeking goals in a direct, full blooded performance. We need it after a poor return in four games.
Draws with Aberdeen and Motherwell and a defeat to Celtic have been supplemented by a win in the tie against St. Mirren at Ibrox. With a challenging Europa League qualifying campaign disrupting our rhythm before the break, there can be no excuses going forward.
All going well, we can also hope to see the highly rated Joe Worrall and Eros Grezda at some point tomorrow. Hopefully the latter can grab a goal.
