The Gers Store Online has confirmed that the release of the club’s third shirt will take place Friday 23rd August at 9 pm.
The retailer – which continues to sell Gers kits amidst a tenuous retail debacle with Sports Direct – made the announcement via a banner on the vendor’s website.
It follows on from a previous banner earlier in August which said the cherry red kit would be released in the following weeks.

The news of the third top’s release comes just weeks after the club released the stylish blue-and-black Hummel away kit.
This release of the third kit is timely in the sense that Rangers have worn it in the last month against both Kilmarnock and FC Midtjylland.
The launch comes despite the aforementioned retail dispute with Mike Ashley’s Sports Direct where Rangers have been court-ordered not to use Hummel next season after being found to have broken a first option agreement with Sports Direct.
Despite the club stating that the outcome of this case was not how it was reported in the press [Rangers.co.uk], the entire thing continues to hang over Rangers.
Sports Direct have even been added to the club’s website as Rangers’ official retail partner.
But there has been no intimation from any influencers that supporters should boycott or stop buying the club’s kits from the Gers store.

On top of that, Hummel continues to promote and market the club whilst the likes of Greaves Sports are still stocking kits.
Visit the Gers Store Online from 9 am on the morning of Friday 23rd August if you’re interested in purchasing the shirt.
