Local Glaswegian sports clothing and equipment outlet Greaves Sports has announced that this season’s Hummel Rangers kits will be “coming soon” to their stores.
The home and away kits are previewed in the message at the Glasgow City Centre based sports outlet looks to stock the kits for the second year in a row.
The news will please fans who have an affinity with the outlet, particularly after their promotion campaign last year.
“Johnny fae Greaves” provided fun updates to supporters about the kits and earned a small following online.
So much so some Rangers fans launched a petition to have him do a half-time draw at Ibrox.
Rangers fans rushed to the support of Greaves Sports last season after the club began stocking the kits.
Despite retail and merchandising chaos at Ibrox, Greaves have stood by supporters during protests and boycotts.
The sports outlet refused to stock the kits whilst Rangers fans were boycotting them, and it’s something that bluenoses have clearly not forgotten.
It’s proved fruitful for Greaves with fans rushing to buy kits from the vendor last season.

They’re also obviously still keen to support the club despite the ongoing situation with Mike Ashley hanging over Rangers.
The company was founded by brothers Jim and Bill Greaves in the city over five generations ago.
They employ around 100 people in their stores and the flagship store on Gordon St has been an almost permanent feature in the city ever since it opened.
