On Friday afternoon, Steven Gerrard previewed the upcoming clash with Hearts, as followed by the Rangers Twitter account.
The Gers should be well rested after a weekend off, as they look to finish the season strongly.
In the final throes of the presser, the manager was asked to provide his customary injury update.
He reports a clean bill of health, with only Alfredo Morelos and Ryan Kent missing out through suspension.
Although no further details were given, that hints at a quadruple boost ahead of the post-split fixtures.

Borna Barisic

Barisic has missed Rangers’ previous three matches due to a hamstring injury. He picked up the knock on international duty for Croatia, but it seems he’s now available for selection once more. He may struggle to get back in past a resurgent summer signing, though.

Joe Worrall

Worrall was an injury concern with a knock to his knee ahead of the last outing against Motherwell [RangersTV]. He was named on the bench for that game, perhaps partly because of that niggle. Most Gers fans will be hoping a return to full fitness doesn’t mean a return to the starting XI ahead of Nikola Katic, though.

Graham Dorrans

The 31-year-old midfielder hasn’t featured since September because of a serious knee injury. He was finally spotted back in training a fortnight ago and encouragingly, it seems as though his manager no longer considers him crocked. Could he make a shock return to the squad at Tynecastle?

Jamie Murphy

Murphy has also been a long-term absentee. Knee ligament damage sustained at Rugby Park in August looked to have ruled him out for the season. However, Steven Gerrard claimed last month he could feature before the campaign is out. Saturday will likely come too soon, but maybe all that’s lacking now is match fitness.
