On Deadline Day in January, Rangers got a deal over the line at the eleventh hour.
So far, Steven Gerrard says he’s impressed by what he’s seen, as quoted by the Scotsman.
Glen Kamara signed from Dundee, pushing forward a pre-contract agreement that had already been in place.

The fee was a reported £45k. A meagre sum in today’s market and barely two weeks wages for some of the flops brought into the club under Pedro Caixinha.
So far, though, the Finland international has looked worthy of a much bigger sum.

It took him a while to get match fit, but since making his debut against St Johnstone, he has impressed the fans and retained his place in the side.

On Thursday, the manager found himself explaining why Steven Davis was struggling to make it into the team.
Kamara’s form is clearly a prime reason.

“Glen Kamara has arguably been our best player over the last four matches”, said Gerrard, as quoted by the Scotsman.

That’s high praise from the boss. Particularly, as Alfredo Morelos scored five goals over that period, Daniel Candeias is racking up assists and the back four are overseeing plenty of clean sheets.
Gerrard certainly backed Kamara to make an impact, by pushing his Ibrox move forward.
Now, he’s repaying the faith.
