Four Rangers players have been named in the WhoScored.com Scottish Premiership Team of the Week as the Ibrox club dominates the XI.

A total of three Rangers defenders in captain James Tavernier, full-back Borna Barisic and new signing Leon Balogun make the side following the 3-0 win over St. Mirren.

Colombian striker Alfredo Morelos is the fourth Gers player in the line-up but narrowly misses out on the star of the week prize.

Hibs striker and one-time reported Rangers target Kevin Nisbet banged in a hattrick as the Hibees battered Livingston 4-1 at the Tony Macaroni over the weekend.

Nisbet, 23, is one of three Hibs players who make the lineup, with the striker stealing the show this weekend alongside winger Daryl Horgan and midfielder Joe Newell.

Former Rangers keeper Jak Alnwick was very impressive despite shipping three goals at Ibrox and makes the XI as the goalkeeper.

Ex-Gers winger Chris Burke – now 36 – also makes the team after scoring from the spot and rolling back the years against Old Firm rivals Celtic.

The final two places are taken up by Dundee United centre-half Mark Reynolds and Arabs loanee Luke Bolton.

The Tannadice club managed an impressive 1-0 victory away to Motherwell in the second round of Scottish Premiership fixtures.

Rangers were impressive in their 3-0 romp at home to Saints as Alfredo Morelos won the acclaim of the Ibrox support by breaking his Premiership scoring duck.
