Football fans everywhere are loving Steven Gerrard’s Rangers celebrations

Rangers boss Steven Gerrard described his side’s 2-1 win away at Celtic Park as the biggest of his Ibrox tenure, and his celebrations at the end kind of backed that up.

The Rangers gaffer has caught the attention of the footballing world after his impassioned cheers as the final whistle went at the end of the match.

Screaming with joy into the camera, Gerrard’s outburst pretty much summed up how every Rangers fan was feeling in that moment.

It’s been nine long years since Rangers last tasted success at Celtic Park and they did so in the face of wild refereeing incompetence.

A soft penalty and a handball goal couldn’t deny the Gers as and none of the major refereeing decisions went for Rangers today.

This talented and determined young Rangers side managed to eke out the victory against our biggest rivals, dominating them on their own patch.

Gerrard has since said he’d make no apology for the way he celebrated at the end [RangersTV], with those celebrations getting plenty of attention from across football.

The passion in the Rangers boss’ celebrations has captured the imagination of online voices from across football.
