Rangers fringe player Andy Firth has taken to Twitter to celebrate his return to training after a mystery injury.
Steven Gerrard plucked Firth from English non-league football with Barrow in January 2019 and brought him to Ibrox to be a backup goalkeeper.

The manager knew the Yorkshireman from his time in the Liverpool Academy and clearly felt he was a good fit for the group in terms of his personality.
He’s received just nine minutes of first-team playing time to date, replacing the injured Wes Foderingham for the closing stages at Kilmarnock on the final day of the 2018/19 Premiership season.
However, he’s seen his initial 18-month deal extended twice and will be with the club until at least the end of the current season.

Firth appears to have been injured for some time but he’s so far down the pecking order right now that Gerrard didn’t mention his absence in any pre-match squad updates.
The 25-year-old was back in training on Friday, though, celebrating his return with a tweet in the evening.
He captioned an action shot from Auchenhowie: “Finally back on the pitch, just in time for the nice weather.”
A reply to the post gave some insight into the nature of the injury Firth has recovered from, with a fan sharing a snap from outside Ibrox on a matchday in which the keeper is on crutches and has a brace on his left leg.
Firth is currently the fourth-choice senior keeper at Rangers, behind Allan McGregor, Jon McLaughlin and Robby McCrorie.
There are still a number of other more senior stars sidelined with injuries, though, and more players picked up knocks in midweek vs Aberdeen.
