Tuesday evening was a tough experience for Rangers loanee, Greg Docherty.
His adopted side, Shrewsbury Town, were dumped out of the FA Cup after losing a fourth round replay at Wolves.

It had been an outstanding run for the League One strugglers up until that point, and Docherty had been influential at almost every stage.
He scored an excellent solo goal in a first round replay against Salford, assisted the winner in a stunning comeback in the third round replay away at Stoke and scored in the initial fourth round tie against Wolves.
Across both legs against the Premier League opposition, the 22-year-old performed well. He pitted himself against international stars like Joao Moutinho and didn’t look out of place.
However, unfortunately, it wasn’t to be.
Two goals from his namesake, Matt Docherty, and one from Ivan Cavaleiro, condemned the spirited Shrews to a 3-2 defeat.

While it will be a disappointment, more important matters are at hand.
Despite the encouraging cup run, their league form is a major concern. They have lost three of their last four matches in the English third tier.
Consequently, Sam Ricketts’ side are now firmly in a relegation battle.
Despite that, Shrewsbury, Wolves and Rangers fans showed their appreciation for Docherty’s efforts in reaction to his post-match tweet.
