Fan account, Rangers Culture, has shared a screenshot suggesting that a Castore Rangers store will soon open in Buchanan Galleries.
Castore took over as the club’s kit and retail supplier on a long-term deal in May, as the Gers opted for an up and coming British brand rather than an established global giant.
Since then, plenty has happened. The new kit designs for the 2020/21 season were well received by supporters but a number of issues with stock and deliveries led to a high volume of complaints.
At this point, those early problems appear to have been largely resolved, though, and according to a screenshot shared by the Rangers Culture fan account, Castore are expanding their Gers operations.

The image suggests that a Castore Rangers store – the first of its kind outside of the recently refurbished Megastore at Ibrox – is currently being fitted in Buchanan Galleries in Glasgow City Centre.
It’s claimed that Castore have taken an outdoor unit on Sauchiehall Street and that work is being done with the aim of ‘opening by the end of next week.’

This information is at present unverified, but if it turns out to be true, it’s something plenty of Bears will be excited about.
Gers Stores opened in St Enoch’s Square and in Belfast City Centre in recent years while legal battles concerning kit continued in the background.
However, Castore announced their intention to bring their own stores to various locations during their time as official suppliers [Scottish Sun] and this could be the first evidence of that plan coming to fruition.
