Exciting Rangers loanee Ben Williamson made his debut for Livingston on Saturday in a shock 2-1 defeat to Alloa Athletic in the Premier Sports Cup.
Williamson spent the second half of last season out on loan at Arbroath and scooped their Young Player of the Year award.

He took part in the early stages of 2021/22 pre-season, playing 45 minutes of the opening friendly against Partick Thistle and making the bench for the second at Tranmere.
However, earlier this week, it was announced that he’d joined Livingston on a season-long loan, after signing a new deal at Ibrox through to the summer of 2023.

Livi boss David Martindale said he believes Williamson has a ‘great future’ in the game and he threw the loanee straight into the starting XI at the Indodrill Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The 19-year-old started in central midfield for the Premiership outfit against League One club Alloa and was involved in the opening goal of the game.
In the 63rd minute, he played a pass out wide to Jackson Longridge, whose subsequent cross was finished by Bruce Anderson.
At that point, it looked like a win was very much on the cards for the visitors and Williamson was subbed off just two minutes later.
The game turned on its head in the final ten minutes, though, with goals from Scott Taggart and Alan Trouten (penalty), earning Alloa a shock victory.
Disappointment for Williamson, then, but elation for Ibrox legend Barry Ferguson, who is in charge of the Wasps.
Meanwhile, a Rangers-linked player has ‘verbally agreed’ to join another club.
