Exciting Rangers bound player Fashion Sakala netted a quickfire brace in his final home appearance for KV Oostende on Wednesday.
Rangers announced the pre-contract signing of Sakala earlier this month, with the Zambia international set to join up with the group for pre-season.
However, he still has work to do at KVO and he’s finishing the season strongly.
The 24-year-old scored and notched an assist in a 5-3 defeat to KV Mechelen ten days ago and delivered against the same opposition once again on Wednesday evening.
Sakala netted twice in the opening 20 minutes of his farewell appearance at the Diaz Arena, capitalising on a defensive error to put the hosts in front before doubling their advantage with a smart close-range finish.

KVO have conceded a lot of goals recently, though, and their defensive problems returned in the second half, with Mechelen pulling one back through Ferdy Druijf soon after the restart before Sheldon Bateau equalised in the 63rd minute.
Aster Vranckx was sent off for the visitors nine minutes from time, but Sakala and co. weren’t able to capitalise on the man advantage and the game finished 2-2.
Sakala now has 16 goals for the season to go alongside five assists and Bears will be excited to see the soon-to-be Ger – that Steven Gerrard says has potential ‘on a big scale’ – performing well.
Meanwhile, Rangers fans are sure to be seething after a Scottish Government-backed major rugby crowd announcement.
