As Rangers fans find a new hero in Malik Tillman, a clip of former Ibrox star and now Southampton midfielder Joe Aribo performing a seemingly impossible nutmeg has gone viral.
The ex-Gers star moved to St Mary’s in a £10m deal earlier in the summer and the Nigerian international is already making waves on the English south coast.
Having blown away the Saints faithful with a Braga-esque solo goal against Villarreal in pre-season, Joe has once again stunned their support with his first competitive goal for the club.
In a stunning movement, the ex-Rangers star rolls the ball through the legs of the outrushing Leeds United keeper Illan Meslier before cooly slotting the ball home.
This was Southampton’s first comeback goal in what proved to be an eventual 2-2 draw between Southampton and the Elland Road club and in the aftermath the clip has gone viral.

Scoring the decisive goal with a stunning leap in the 3-0 win over Union Saint Gilloise, the Ibrox side even had a special Tillman Challenge ahead of the club’s clash with St Johnstone.
Tillman even responded to this himself by scoring yet another imposing header to open the scoring a 4-0 rout against Callum Davidson’s side.
