Eden Hazard has broken his silence on his future amid rumours linking the legendary ex-Real Madrid attacker to Rangers.
Speaking as part of a new documentary, the former Chelsea attacker was decidedly cryptic as murmurs continue around the Belgian international potentially retiring from football.
As part of the release of Believe, a documentary which will focus on the Belgian national team, Eden Hazard claimed it was time to “enjoy life” over a few beers.
Whilst this is absolutely no confirmation that Eden Hazard is going to hang up his boots, any Rangers fans who still have a lingering hope of an Ibrox switch look set to be thoroughly disappointed.
The 32-year-old said:
“Little by little it’s time to enjoy life with my family and friends, drinking a few Jupiler beers.”

Eden Hazard hints at retirement amid Rangers links
Whilst you might be wondering why we’re covering this, Rangers were genuinely mentioned alongside Eden Hazard this summer after the player’s release from Real Madrid.
Signing a €100m (£88.5m) deal to join the Galácticos back in 2019, the move didn’t go to plan for the winger as injury and high-pressure laid siege to Hazard’s stint in sunny Spain.
Eventually, the Spanish giants released the attacker one year early from his contract.
Since then there has been chatter aplenty surrounding Eden Hazard with clubs in the Premier League, MLS and Saudi Pro League all mentioned in the press.
But Rangers have been quoted as another option for Eden Hazard, as well as retirement, with Four Lads Had a Dream even asking the club as rumours spread earlier in the window.
Whilst these were reportedly laughed off by Rangers, there is potentially a little fire to all this smoke amid reports which came out of Spain late in the window.

Spanish publication AS claim that there were offers on the table from “United States, Saudi Arabia, England, Spain, France and even Scotland” with Eden Hazard looking at retirement.
Going by the legendary former Lille attacker’s latest comments, it certainly looks like it’ll be the Riviera and not Rangers as Eden Hazard prepares to hang up his boots.
