Joe Dodoo is a name that most Rangers fans probably thought they wouldn’t hear much of again.
And not without good reason. Barring a stellar performance against Partick Thistle in November 2016, the striker hasn’t exactly been involved in much at Ibrox.
Now in his third season, the Ghanaian striker managed only five goals in 27 appearances at Rangers.

But after a failed loan spell at Charlton, Dodoo is starting to hit form in League One with Blackpool.
Could he be the answer to Rangers issues with quality cover?
Joe Dodoo finding his feet at Blackpool
Dodoo was labelled as “outstanding” by Seasiders boss Terry McPhillips after scoring a towering header in their weekend cup win at Exeter. But it’s not been easy for Dodoo, 23, this year either.
Injury has interrupted his season on the English North Coast.
But now McPhillips really believes Dodoo is coming of age.

The striker went on to get a double last night as Blackpool beat Accrington Stanley 3-2 in the Johnstone Paint Trophy.
The first was an absolute worldy.
Most fans won’t see the athletic Dodoo as a long-term solution to Rangers problems. But if he can keep up this form, he certainly won’t do his chances of getting back in the squad any harm.
I’m sure Steven Gerrard will have one eye on his progress at Bloomfield Road. Rangers have appointed a loan manager to manage player progress whilst away from the club.
It’s no wonder, Dodoo isn’t the only Rangers player who’s impressing whilst on loan.
