The one person who deserves credit amid all the transfer speculation surrounding Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos is probably, well, Alfredo Morelos himself.
Far from be distracted from the seemingly constant barrage of press speculation, and criticism, Morelos has come on leaps and bounds in a season where people are talking about him outgunning Marco Negri.
No mean feat considering the Italian had 33 goals by the New Year for Rangers back in the late 90s.
Still the press talk, still Alfredo Morelos continues to produce the goods.
The relentless conversation and questions over Alfredo’s future have clearly irked Steven Gerrard, who cuts a frustrated figure when consistently telling the press his 22-goal asset is going nowhere.
