Danny Rohl has been linked with a Rangers exit as Wolfsburg reportedly want to hire him as their manager.
Wolfsburg have been admirers of Rohl since his Sheffield Wednesday days, and are trying to bring the German back to his home country.
The Light Blues boss’ focus is currently on the Scottish Premiership, as despite their recent defeats, they want to end the season strongly and scupper Celtic’s hopes of winning the title.
Danny Rohl could leave amid links to RB Salzburg…
Who do you see replacing him?
Danny Rohl confirms conversations with Rangers board this week
Rohl confirmed that he held conversations with the Rangers board over the last few days, amid reports of him leaving.
He stated that the focus is primarily on the Gers and all discussions were about him being a part of the club’s future.
The German joked that he could have got 20 jobs last summer, given how many clubs he was linked with.
Eventually, when Rangers came calling, he said yes, and now looks to build something substantial in Glasgow.
Will Rangers sack Danny Rohl if they fail to win the league?
If he goes, who would be a good replacement for him?
Despite struggles in recent weeks, Rohl has the backing of the board and is not in real danger of being sacked.
Speaking about his future ahead of the Celtic game, he said: “There’s a lot of rumours.
“If I look back to last year with how many clubs I was linked to I could get maybe 20 jobs.
“But my full focus is on Rangers, and even the last couple of days, my conversations with the board, the club, goes in just one direction.
“How we can win titles with the club in the future.
“I feel I am in the right place with the right people.”

How can Rohl turn things around at Ibrox?
Rohl knows that while the title is beyond reach, he can end the season strongly and have the Gers supporters be positive by beating Celtic and winning the other two games as well.
This would ensure that the Hoops also do not win the title and that Rangers could finish in the top two and potentially push for Champions League qualification.
He knows that there have been tactical and personnel issues, which need to be addressed sooner rather than later.
For the Celtic game, a number of changes can be expected as Rohl needs to send a message to the dressing room that poor performances cannot be tolerated.
