Derek McInnes could bring Craig Clark with him to Rangers following the latter’s Kilmarnock departure.
Danny Rohl has officially quit Ibrox and has become the new head coach of Austrian club RB Salzburg.
McInnes has reached an agreement with Rangers, and the deal is now subject to an official announcement, which is expected at any time.
What would your concerns be about Derek McInnes replacing Danny Rohl?
Craig Clark could be included in the compensation package and join Derek McInnes at Rangers
According to Callum Scott of the Killie Chronicle, Clark may be included in the package that would bring McInnes to Ibrox.
The Scotsman had reached an agreement with McInnes to move to Hearts and had informed Kilmarnock that he would be leaving at the end of the season.
Killie sanctioned his exit, and he was under the impression that he would be moving to Tynecastle.
Now that Danny Rohl has left Rangers, how would you rate his time at the club?
However, McInnes’ imminent move to Rangers has put a spanner in the works, and his future is up in the air.
The Hearts manager will be taking his coaching staff with him to Ibrox, and there is a chance that Clark is also a part of it.
The 40-year-old will surely not be at Rugby Park for next season as his exit there has been confirmed.

What does Clark’s coaching career look like?
Clark moved to Kilmarnock back in May 2005 and started off as the Academy Manager there.
He spent 10 years in that role before he took up a coaching role with Manchester City in China.
The Scotsman saw this as an important step to be taken in his coaching career, and he was also given the opportunity to work in Canada.
Which area should Rangers prioritise on strengthening this summer? 🤔
Andrew Cavenagh has made some bold promises!
He then returned to Killie in 2018 and began working with the Under-18s side on a full-time basis.
The 40-year-old served five years as the Assistant Manager of that team before he became a Technical Coach for the first team.
He was also the Assistant Manager of the B Team, as well as being Chris Burke’s assistant for a first-team game after McInnes had agreed a deal to join Hearts.
Recently, he completed a two-year course and now has a UEFA Pro Licence with the Scottish FA.
