Celtic had the chance to all but end any Rangers resistance in the Scottish Premiership today but were held to a hardworking Aberdeen side.
Should Celtic have won, the ten-point gap/four game swing would’ve been unassailable. For many, the eight-point gap/three game swing already is.
The Scottish Premiership has nine games left and 27 points to play for. And if Rangers are to seriously put the pressure on Lennon’s Celtic, there’s one game they need to send a message in.

The upcoming Old Firm derby at Parkhead is on the 31st of March. Before then, Rangers have Kilmarnock at home and Celtic have Dundee away next weekend. Of course, every match is important.
But whilst this is another huge weekend in the league, the one a fortnight later could be even bigger. That’s not to say there won’t be another twist in the tale by next Sunday night.
But should Rangers remain at the very least eight points behind their rivals, then the entire thing can be opened-up with three points in the Eastend.
Rangers would be sitting five points behind their rivals with seven games to go. And another Old Firm at Ibrox to come.

Stranger things have happened. But there’s a lot of ifs, buts and maybe attached to our title run in. We’re also hampered by our dire inability to grind out consistent results.
However, should we get our act together it could well come down to who gets the three points on March 31st.
But do this Rangers side have a title race in them?
