Talk of Rangers launching a £9m bid on Senegalese Amiens forward Moussa Konate [Premium Courier] had fans panicking over the future of Gers talisman Alfredo Morelos.
Couple that with comments Steven Gerrard made in the last few days about predicting a bid for one of his top stars, and it’s easy to see why.
But Rangers have made it clear they want megabucks for the player – so is this Bundesliga outfit with cash to burn a possible option?

Eintracht Frankfurt have already raked in a combined £83m for the sales of strikers Luka Jovic (£38m) and Sebastien Haller (£45m).
There remains a conversation over Croatian World Cup finalist Ante Rebic’s future too, with Frankfurt boss Adi Hutter criticising his attitude amid links from Inter Milan.
The side have cash to burn and spaces to fill and have been linked with Morelos in the past.
There were claims Frankfurt sent scouts to watch the Colombian international against Hibs in March whilst the most recent claims of a “big money bid” came mid-July [Daily Record].
Rangers won’t budge on their asking price for the player (around £20m) and Frankfurt have the cash to spend.

However, Frankfurt have already ready signed Dejan Jovejic from Red Star Belgrade and more recently Bas Dost from Sporting Lisbon to replace Jovic and Haller.
So could any move for Rangers forward Alfredo Morelos depend on the future of Croatian international Ante Rebic?
