Controversial Rangers defender George Edmundson has dropped a big hint regarding his future as he thanks the Rams for their support this season.
Edmundson, 23, risked the ire of the Rangers support by breaching Covid=19 protocols with Jordan Jones to attend a house party in Glasgow’s west end in November last year.

Already on the fringes of the side, this pushed Edmundson further to the outskirts of the squad with a seven-game ban imposed on both Edmundson and Jones.
The defender would then move to Wayne Rooney-led Derby County on a short-term loan deal as the ex-Oldham star looked to resurrect his career.
It’s been a whirlwind few months at Pride Park but after the club managed to narrowly avoid relegation on the final game of the Championship season Edmundson addressed fans.
The centre-back thanked Derby for all their support and the experience of playing for the club as he celebrated staying in the English second tier.
But the comments also appear to suggest Edmundson’s time at Derby County could be coming to an end with an Ibrox return imminent:
“Would like to thank everyone at Derby County, been a pleasure to play for the rams and even bigger pleasure to share the dressing room with a great bunch of lads who fought till the end!!! WE ARE STAYING UP!” tweets Edmundson.
Edmundson isn’t the only controversial star whose Rangers future is up in the air as the fans of one EFL club call on their team to pounce on another Ibrox star.
