Lille are on the verge of submitting a megabucks bid for Alfredo Morelos and want the Rangers striker in France by Friday, according to a report.
Spanish outlet Todo Fichajes are claiming that signing Morelos remains a “priority” for the French club and they will try again in the next few days to sign the player.

The report claims that Lille will submit an £18m (€20m) bid for Morelos and if there are no hiccups, he could be a Lille player by Friday.
This report comes after a spate of claims in South America – the most recent of which was in Casa Blanca – claimed a deal for Morelos was already completed.
That report claimed an £18m (€20m) deal had been struck and echoed the comments of journalists working for Colombian news outlets WinSportsTV and Caracol.
However, journalists in Scotland claimed that Rangers were still waiting for Lille to make an improved bid [Glasgow Times].
Morelos was also an unused substitute in Rangers’ 2-0 win over Hamilton at the weekend as he was recalled to the side after being dropped for displaying attitude problems the week previously.

According to this Spanish report, Lille will make that move this week.
The French club have also been boosted by the news that Brazilian defender Gabriel has joined Arsenal for a reported £27m (€30m).
