Reputable Rangers club insider Four Lads Had a Dream has confirmed that Rangers are interested in Stoke City and English youth striker Tyrese Campbell.
News coming out of Scotland claimed that Rangers are Campbell’s “preferred choice” in Scotland [Daily Record] but the Ibrox club face competition from Sheffield United and Stoke City themselves.
Now, the widely respected club insider has confirmed that the Ibrox side does have an interest in the player and have “watched him heavily”.
We are definitely interested & we have watched him heavily, no denial to that
Any bid or movement now has been denied
The impression I got is any deal would be a bosman for summer but that’s only my opinion
It’s one to watch but we know of all names he is one that’s true

The popular blogger reveals that the Ibrox club has been denying to them any notion they plan on moving for the player in this window.
The “impression” Four Lads have gotten is that any deal would be a pre-contract deal with a view to the move this summer.
Rangers were first linked to Campbell earlier in the transfer window [Independent] with the Ibrox club now the Scottish frontrunner ahead of rivals Celtic for the player’s signature.
Cross border compensation rules mean Rangers would pay considerably less than English clubs for the striker than the £1.75m Stoke were ordered to pay Man City for his services back in 2017.
With journalist Mark Guidi suggesting that Rangers are working hard to bring one player in during this transfer window [Clyde Superscoreboard], talk may well intensify over the immediate future of Campbell.
The fact that the Potters have also been linked with a move for Rangers winger Jordan Jones [Daily Mail] may also have some musing over the potential of a swap move this month.
Campbell has scored five goals for Stoke this season, including the winner during the week in Stoke’s 1-0 win over West Brom.
