Chris Sutton rarely passed up on the chance to mock Rangers, and it was no different after Celtic lifted the Premiership title on Saturday.
The Light Blues avoided further embarrassment, as they earned a 5-2 victory over Falkirk away from home in their final game of the season.
Youssef Chermiti bagged a stunning hat-trick, but ultimately it did not matter as Rangers finished third and Celtic beat Hearts to emerge as champions once again.

Sutton rubs salt in the Rangers wound
With the Premiership title race boiling down to the clash between Celtic and Hearts on Saturday, there has been a rather unusual amount of excitement over the league this time.
Even football fans south of the border were watching keenly to see if Derek McInnes and Co. would cause a setback over the Hoops.
This meant that Rangers’ 5-2 win against Falkirk went unnoticed, pointing out how quickly the Govan club became irrelevant in the title race.
Therefore, Sutton was on the wind-up once again, as he aimed a subtle dig at the Ibrox outfit’s irrelevance while plugging his appearance on the BBC 606 programme.

The Celtic hero posed intriguing questions about his former club and Hearts, and went on to include Rangers at the bottom, which is certain to infuriate the Gers faithful.
He wrote on X: “Was that Celtic’s best ever title win? Will Hearts be able to bounce back from the final day disappointment next season? Should Martin O’Neill stay on and manage Celtic next season? What was the Rangers score?”
That said, not a single Light Blues fan called the show, despite Sutton expressing his desire to hear what supporters think of Danny Rohl after believing they had the title wrapped up earlier.
Speaking on BBC 606, he said: “I want to hear from Rangers fans on Danny Rohl. It wasn’t so long ago that Rangers fans were thinking the title was theirs”

Andrew Cavenagh must deliver on his promises
There was a lot of excitement when Andrew Cavenagh and the 49ers Enterprises finalised the takeover of Rangers ahead of this season.
Fans believed it would mark the beginning of a new era that would take the Ibrox outfit back to the very top of Scottish and European football.
While there have been some promising signs, the last few weeks are certain to have given supporters deja vu of their past struggles.
The Gers have been playing second fiddle to Celtic for so long, and the fans have had enough of the embarrassment.
That is why Cavenagh and Co. must do everything in their disposal to deliver on the promises they made when they initially arrived.
Whether that includes sacking Rohl and bringing in a new manager or splurging again in the transfer market remains to be seen.
