Rangers are set to host Celtic in the Scottish Cup fourth round and there are plenty of rival fans out there who’re terrified of the prospect of facing the Scottish Champions.

This once all-conquering Celtic side and their supporters appear to have been reduced to quivering wrecks on Twitter as they nervously preview the trip to the southside.

Rangers’ 4-0 win over Cove Rangers set up the clash and with Celtic supporters pinning their entire season on the match, the Gers have a chance to end their campaign by mid-April.

The Scottish Cup appears to be very much the only shining light in Celtic’s forlorn campaign but many of the club’s fans are nervous at the prospect of facing Rangers so early on in the competition.

The Gers have been a dominant force this season, suffering only one domestic defeat, away to St Mirren in a 3-2 Betfred Cup loss.

The Gers are not only unbeaten at Ibrox this season but the Gers have won every single game on home soil domestically this campaign, conceding only twice – against Motherwell (3-1) and Dundee United (4-1)

As a result, the smell of fear is billowing out of Parkhead ahead of the clash and it appears the flag of war has been replaced by one of surrender:

Rangers fans are in buoyant mood ahead of the match which could set the Gers up for a domestic double in what has already proved to be an iconic season at Ibrox.

One January signing also caught the eye as the Gers booked their place in the 4th round with many believing he’s in with an outside chance of starting the Old Firm later this month.
