Celtic fan rival gets desperate with cringe Rangers post after cup shock

After Rangers were sent crashing out of the Scottish Cup against St Johnstone, Celtic fans have been celebrating like they won the thing.

In a tragic turn of events, the Parkhead club’s supporters are passive-aggressively comforting themselves after a horror season by goading Gers fans for the disappointing cup exit.

This includes resident Perthshire grunt Shaun Rooney, who has taken to his social media channels in a desperate attempt to get one over on Ibrox supporters.

Anyone watching the double-header with Saints would’ve noticed Rooney flying around the pitch and trying to noise things up as the Celtic fan took out his title frustrations on the Gers.

Taking to social media in the aftermath of the result, Rooney claimed he was “drinking they tears” with a wee green love heart just in case anyone was in any doubts about what team he supports.

Another player who would be happy to have a career defined by over-aggressive performances against Rangers, there’s been a pitied response from the Gers faithful.

We might’ve crashed out of the cup – a week after knocking out Celtic – but this desperation from the Celtic support to try and get one over on us as a result is so mightily transparent as they try anything to soothe the very open sore of 55.

Unfortunately for our green-tinted friends like Shaun here, there is nothing that’s going to bring back 10IAR and he, like everyone in Scotland, is going to have to watch us celebrating 55 in 18 days’ time.

If you thought we were unsufferable in March, just you wait until we get our hands on that trophy, the images of us taking over Glasgow set to be permanently etched in their minds forevermore.

Rangers fans have already put their Celtic rivals in their place as things get desperate regarding their “Holy Grail” of a season falling apart under the Rangers challenge.
