Celtic coach John Kennedy has said he expects Ryan Kent to be punished for lashing out at Scott Brown.
The former Celtic centre half believes it’d be “hard” for the governing body not to charge Kent. The flying winger was outstanding all day for Rangers and eventually had enough of Scott Brown’s behaviour.
With a few minutes remaining the talented Liverpool loanee lashed out after being goaded by the classless Brown. And whilst Scott Brown has come in for much criticism, John Kennedy believes Ryan Kent will come in for punishment.

“I think they will obviously have to look at it and they will decide for themselves, but it’s hard not to punish that,” Kennedy said, as quoted by the Daily Record.
“I think on the pitch as professionals you have got to be responsible for your own actions and in this day and age with the cameras they have, even if the officials miss it, you can’t get away with it.

“That’s Rangers’ problem, not ours. The SFA will deal with that but in terms of the discipline and attitude of our players, it was first class.”

Rangers lost the head as Alfredo Morelos and Andy Halliday both saw red. The former has come in for much criticism in the wake of the red card, which ultimately hampered Rangers in the game.
The striker has since apologised to fans for taking the bait from Brown. Brown too was at the centre of the issues with Halliday.
If Ryan Kent gets punished, the Celtic captain will have completed a trifecta of Rangers suspensions.
