Can Joe Worrall make amends for Rangers tomorrow?

Rangers star Joe Worrall has split fan opinion since he’s been at the club on-loan from Nottingham Forest, but he will get the chance to leave one final impression on the side.
Perhaps most poignantly, it will come against a Kilmarnock side where he had his biggest blunder in a Rangers shirt.
With the Ibrox side 1-0 up at Rugby Park after the winter break, Worrall conceded possession in a nothing area and the rest is history. Tomorrow is his last chance to make amends. But for many fans, even that wouldn’t be enough. For many it killed our momentum in the title race.

Joe Worrall has been out of the side for the Rangers 3-0 win over Hearts in April. In the meantime, the club has recorded five wins on the bounce and Nikola Katic has cemented himself at the heart of the defence.
But the big Croatian has been given early leave to prepare for this summer’s U21 European Championship.

That means it’ll be between Worrall and McAuley for the berth beside Connor Goldson. Given veteran Northern Irishman and MBE recipient McAuley hasn’t played since January, it’s nailed on to be Worrall.
The big defender will be hoping for a send-off to remember as his loan spell at Ibrox comes to an end. It’s been a mixed spell for the player on the pitch, but Worrall has undoubtedly developed as a professional footballer. He’s still only 22, which is young for a centre half.
And even if some fans can’t forgive him, you get the feeling he’ll remember Ibrox and Rangers pretty fondly himself.
