Celtic midfielder Callum McGregor has been outspoken about the potential for a title run-in, claiming our rivals can keep their cool when the pressure is on.
By the same token, the midfielder claims that whilst Celtic thrive, other teams, choke. McGregor has seen both Rangers and Aberdeen lose their discipline in recent high-profile clashes with Celtic.
By and large, he sees this ability to handle the pressure as the main difference between Celtic and the rest, putting it down to experience.

“You just become experienced in those moments when the game is on a knife-edge,” said McGregor, as quoted by the Daily Record.
“We manage to keep our cool and the other team will maybe get a player sent off, then they have to change their game plan and we come alive.
“It’s as much about keeping your temperament as it is about trying to play your football and score goals and all these sorts of things. That experience helps us as we have been there so often.”
Does Callum McGregor have a point?
Perhaps this season more than any, Rangers have done something to turn the pressure up on Celtic. But it looks like they haven’t done enough.
A counter-argument to all of this is that this Celtic team haven’t had enough pressure applied to them over the last three years.
Rangers had the chance to really turn the screw this season but couldn’t rise to the challenge. Celtic have managed to when called upon. Whereas Rangers have often fluffed their lines. Morelos fluffed his at Parkhead.

The truth is the final standings and we will need to see how things end up.
Should they drop points this weekend or even taste defeat in Aberdeen, the pressure could well begin to mount. Then we’ll see if Callum McGregor’s words stand up.
Without getting ahead of ourselves, is there any chance the impossible could happen between now and mid-May?
