Rangers’ Europa League opponents Young Boys are facing an injury crisis ahead of their group defining trip to Ibrox on Thursday night.

The Swiss champions managed to eke out a 2-1 win with a depleted team in Berne but coming to Glasgow will present a whole different set of challenges for Gerardo Seoane’s team.

According to Transfermarkt, the YB have six players out with injury heading into the crunch tie at Ibrox.

Centre-back Mohammed Camara and club captain Fabian Lustenberger are set to miss out in a considerable blow to the Swiss Super League side.

Swiss midfielders Sandro Lauper and Vincent Sierro miss out alongside German summer signing Gianluca Gaudino, presenting a crisis in the middle of the park for our rivals.

Key-man Miralem Sulejmani remains out and hasn’t been seen for Young Boys since playing 25 minutes against Red Star Belgrade back in August.

Rangers go into the match knowing at least a point will guarantee them a place in the last 32 of the Europa League.

Victory will ensure Rangers top the group and go through seeded in the next round of the competition.

A draw at Ibrox will only be good enough for Young Boys if Feyenoord manage to defeat Porto.
