Billy Dodds knows a thing or two about lifting the league title at Rangers.
The former Scotland international spent four years at Ibrox and lifted the SPL title in the 1999/2000 season.
Billy Dodds was on commentary duties with BBC Scotland as he watched Rangers romp to victory over Aberdeen.
Speaking at full-time, the former Gers hitman couldn’t help but be blown away by the Ibrox side’s ’unbelievable’ home form this season.

Rangers home form ‘unbelievable’
Rangers might find themselves 13 points behind Celtic in the Scottish Premiership.
But it’s not the club’s wonderful record at home this season between Hampden and Ibrox which has allowed such a monumental gap to open up.
Rangers’ toils on the road are well documented but at home this season the club has won 11 out of 12 matches and taken 34 out of 36 points.
Dodds waxed lyrical about the form come full-time and reckons Philippe Clement is beginning to work out the formula at Rangers.
”They have (been fantastic),” Dodds told BBC Scotland when asked about Rangers’ home form.
“Eleven wins, one draw. That’s unbelievable form.
”But it’s just that away form and that’s what he’s got to solve because you are at one of the biggest clubs in Scotland.
”You need to win your away games or your fair percentage of them and show consistency and that’s not happened.
”I think he knows where he is now. He knows probably his best team when everybody is fit. He knows how he wants to play them.
”He knows he’s got to look at every game as of the now, don’t look two, three weeks into the future and ‘I’ve got a team in mind for that fixture’.
”I think that’s all he can do and it was comprehensive tonight.“
Billy Dodds on Philippe Clement
Despite the excellent home record this season, Rangers manager Philippe Clement still finds himself under growing pressure at Ibrox.
The points gap between Rangers and Celtic is far too big and the weekend’s win over St Johnstone was marred by protests.
Billy Dodds reckons that whilst chalking up the victories at home is all well and good, it’s on the road the Rangers manager will be judged this season.
”They’re in a good place but it’s not been consistent enough and that’s put (Clement) under pressure,” said Dodds.
”They’ll beat Fraserburgh at the weekend and then they’ve got Dundee United and that’s the fixture that all the fans will be looking at.
”It’s another away fixture, it’s a tough team, a team that’s doing well in the league and that’s where Philippe Clement will be judged now.”
