There will be one pleasurable sight for Rangers manager Steven Gerrard this week – Eros Grezda training again.
Indeed, the Albanian winger has pitched up at the Hummel Training Centre ready to go after injury ruled him out of action for his country.
A post on Instagram from the club showed Grezda in training alongside fellow injury-hit stars Graham Dorrans and Jordan Rossiter.
The one big disappointment in this image is that there’s still no Lassana Coulibaly available. Former Rangers hero Barry Ferguson believed this was a key reason as to why Celtic beat Rangers at Parkhead. It’s difficult to argue against that, he adds so much dynamism and aggression to the midfield.
An exciting prospect
Regardless, it’s great to see the likes of Grezda in training, and it’s something that should excite the Rangers fans. In the last week, the youngster has been tipped to be a £20million asset one day.

Whether he can work his way up to that value at Rangers remains to be seen. But rave reviews seem to be coming towards Grezda from all avenues.
Having Dorrans fit is another plus-point. With Gerrard having turned Andy Halliday into a solid, reliable performer again, he can surely do something with Dorrans.
The midfielder signed for the club at the beginning of last season, but we haven’t yet seen the best of him. Playing under both Pedro Caixinha and Graeme Murty has worked heavily against the former West Bromwich Albion man.

Gerrard will want to find a solution and get Dorrans back on track. There’s no doubting he has the quality, but it’s going to take the right manager to get that out of him.
Rossiter being back isn’t anything to get excited about. He appears back every six weeks or so. It’ll take more than a training ground snap to prove that he can stay injury-free.
Rossiter’s had a hugely unsuccessful two years at Ibrox as he’s been plagued by injuries. Fair play must go his way, however, and he continues to try and battle through them.
It’s a positive image that fans can get excited about. Grezda returning to fitness is the main plot here, and hopefully now we can start to see what he’s going to bring at Ibrox.
