Rangers confirmed the signing of Sheyi Ojo on a season-long loan from Liverpool on Tuesday.
The winger has been drafted in as part of Steven Gerrard’s drive to add more quality in the final third.
Despite only being in Glasgow for a few days, the talent is loving the experience so far.
“I have only been here a couple of days but even yesterday I went to the shops and people were coming up to me saying good luck for this season,” he told RangersTV on Tuesday.
“I just feel a real part of it already so I think it is the best initial feeling I have had of all the clubs I have been at on loan – I really have a sense that it is going to be a good season.”
That initial good feeling was only furthered on Wednesday.
It was Ojo’s birthday and he was presented with a blue party hat during the training session.
In reaction to that, he posted on Twitter for the second time as a Rangers player.
“I think I’m in love with Rangers,” he wrote alongside a training picture with him donning the hat. “Thank you all so much for the birthday messages!”
