Rangers fans have been quietly enjoying the meltdown of our Celtic counterparts in recent weeks as they exit two competitions before December and fall behind in the title race.
The Ibrox club, in contrast, are going well in Europe and domestically with high hopes building around Steven Gerrard’s side this season.

There’s certainly still a long way to go and the club’s supporters won’t be getting carried away, but the latest complaint to go viral in Rangers circles will have fans in stitches.
A group of Celtic fans complaining about Scott Arfield’s iconic salute celebration has been gaining traction on Twitter as the sides of Gers fans everywhere collectively split.
Speaking on the Celtic Underground podcast, a group of rival fans appeared very upset with the notion the form midfielder could be “saluting” his way to 55.
According to this particular supporter, Arfield’s celebration is worse than the Covid-19 pandemic.
“Pick the best men in the middle, don’t overcomplicate it,” says the rival fan.
“Do everything we can to stop Scott Arfield saluting his way to a title.
“That’s the worst thing that’s ever happened; that’s going to be worse than Covid.
“Folk are going to say remember Covid, I don’t remember Covid, I remember Rangers winning the league and that Falkirk player saluting their fans because Covid’s come and gone.
“That’s what I’ll remember, and that’ll be Lennon’s legacy, and I’m going to blame him for that.”
Absolutely wonderful stuff.
Rangers fans have naturally found the entire thing hilarious and have taken to Twitter to once again revel in the tears of our rivals:

If Rangers can keep up the pressure on the Celtic this season then this promises to be one of many outbursts this season.
When Rangers midfielder Arfield isn’t saluting his way to title glory, he’s also raising money for good causes by auctioning off shirts to Gers fans.
