Next Rangers manager suggestions and the rumour mill are already in overdrive after Philippe Clement’s sacking.
And we still have until the summer until a permanent appointment!
It is believed Barry Ferguson will be appointed Gers boss on a temporary basis as he gets set to take over until the end of the season.
It’s claimed Rangers have already held talks with Steven Gerrard and Sean Dyche as the look to sound out potential successors to the Belgian.
Gerrard was also going to be floated but there are plenty of other candidates being banded around too.
Even Alan Pardew has now thrown his hat into the ring, the former Premier League Manager of the Year declaring “of course” when asked if he would be interested.
Fans will all have their own idea of who they would like to see step up to the plate, and so will former players and club legends.

Gerrard, Muscat and McInnes names as Rangers candidates
Appearing on talkSPORT early this morning, Ally McCoist was always going to be asked for his take for everything going on at Ibrox.
Ex-Gers boss Gerrard was a name that sprung to mind but there were a few others.
Kevin Muscat got down to the final two before being pipped at the post by Clement and would still be high on many fans’ lists while Derek McInnes is always in the conversation.
Coisty would have liked to have seen Frank Lampard given a chance but he has recently been appointed by Coventry, where he has started very well.
Asked for the next boss, Super Ally told the Breakfast Show: “Dear me that is a question, that is a question. The obvious people you would think about. Steven Gerrard would come into the equation obviously because of his success.
“It won’t happen now but I would have taken a gamble on Frank Lampard before he went to Coventry. I don’t see that happening.
“Kevin Muscat has done well. I think I am right in saying he has won three leagues in three different countries. Could be another option.
“Derek McInnes would come into the equation. He is a fine manager at Kilmarnock, knows the league, players and club. There are one or two options. But I don’t think there are any glaringly obvious candidates right now either.”
Rangers would have won the league if Shankland was signed
McCoist insists Clement shouldn’t take the full blame for the club falling short, with the players and others at the club also culpable.
And he even feels the league would have been won last season had Gers coughed up the money Hearts wanted for Lawrence Shankland.
He added: “Yes, but he is also carrying the can for his own failings. You take that job, you can complain about recruitment, you can complain about the next thing, you will get the sack, the players won’t get the sack and that is what has happened.
“Of course, he has to shoulder responsibility. I don’t think it is all down to him, by any stretch of the imagination.
“I actually think if they had gone last year and got Lawrence Shankland (last January), I think they might have won the league, I genuinely do.
“If they had gone and given Hearts whatever they wanted, Shankland might have scored the goals which won Rangers the league.
“It wasn’t to be, Celtic deservedly came back and won the league. The decline in the club, on and off the pitch, since they won the league and were beaten in the Europa League Final, it hurts to see.”
