Pedro Caixinha’s short spell at Rangers was one of the most disastrous managerial reigns the club have ever endured.

The Portuguese spent just seven months in the Ibrox hot seat after putting pen to paper on a three-year deal to replace caretaker boss Graeme Murty.

He failed to win any trophies and his tenure ended in October 2017 after Motherwell knocked Rangers out of the Scottish League Cup at the semi-final stage.

Caixinha was handed just one transfer window in the summer of 2017 and he went on to make 11 new signings costing over £9m in total.

Incredibly, £3.2m of that spend was splurged on Mexican midfielder Carlos Pena who only went on to play 14 games for the Light Blues.

However, he did sign a couple of gems who would become vital under Caixinha’s permanent successor Steven Gerrard from 2018 onwards.

Here are all 11 of Pedro Caixinha’s signings as Rangers manager ranging from the disastrous to the sublime.
