Fresh reports have emerged linking Alfredo Morelos with Ligue 1 outfit Marseille.
Spanish news outlet Marca followed on from earlier reports about Real Betis being readying a massive bid for the player [originally eldesmarque.com].
The French giants were reportedly also said to be preparing a meagre £6m bid for the striker last month.

The report claims that both Betis and Marseille are interested in taking the Colombian, creating somewhat of a tug of war over his signature.
The entire thing puts Rangers in a very strong position. Should either side make their interest concrete with a bid, Rangers can drive the price up as the two clubs compete.

The club will be holding out for as close to this amount as possible as the Colombian weighs up his options.
The striker signed a new contract earlier in the year, but Rangers have always been open about his future. The club knows he’s a wanted man, but if anyone wants to come in for him, they will need to pay.

With clubs from La Liga and Ligue 1 already showing interest, Rangers could be in for a bumper payment for the striker come to the summer window.
And going by our most recent transfer reports, it’s an eventuality we appear to be preparing for.
