Alfredo Morelos has taken to social media to sound out a battle cry to supporters after the weekend’s football results.
The red-hot Colombian retweeted a Rangers fan page responding to Celtic’s draw with Aberdeen. In the message, they encourage supporters to get behind the team.
It’s clearly a message that resonates with Morelos. As does the video of the Union Bears that goes with it.
Eight points currently separate Rangers and Celtic with 27 left to play for. It’s a huge ask but you must also consider the fact Rangers can make up six of those points themselves.
There is still two Old Firms to go and anything can happen. As Marvin Andrews famously said, “keep believing”.
Alfredo Morelos has clearly not given up hope of achieving 55 this year, and with Celtic showing signs of slowing, neither should supporters.
Whilst it’s a big ask, there’s going to be plenty more bumps in the road before the Scottish Premiership season finishes. Steven Gerrard has already said he’s going to fight until the bitter end for silverware [The Scottish Sun].
