Alfredo Morelos has proven at times to be a top player, and he’s just proved to a young Rangers fan he’s a top person as well.
The Colombian forward sent a special letter to young Kiara Buonomo, 7, after Rangers were contacted by Les Hoey’s Dreammaker Foundation.
A diehard bluenose, it’d have made the young brain cancer sufferer’s day.
The touching note reads: “Dear Kiara, I have heard you are an avid Rangers supporter and you have been going through a difficult time recently while in hospital.
“On behalf of all the players and the staff at Rangers football club, I would like to take this opportunity to send you our very best wishes and stay strong.
“Keep fighting! Best wishes, Alfredo.”
Doctors believe young Rangers fan Kiara only has a few months to live after being diagnosed with brain cancer. This nice little touch from Alfredo and Rangers will help to ease the pain of the illness for her and her family.
Hopefully, it helps to make things a little easier for the youngster. Alfredo isn’t the only one showing his support to the Kiara either.
According to the Evening Times, comedian Gary Faulds is hosting a solo gig on the 28th of April to raise funds for a sensory garden for the youngster.
Morelos was also in the news today when Ally McCoist spoke about his firebrand on-pitch personality impacting club interest. It suggests that nothing is certain when it comes to the striker’s future.
