Rangers could be busy on transfer deadline day with Philippe Clement looking for a bit of help from those above him.

Aaron Anselmino to head to France after Rangers links
Aaron Anselmino isn’t your standard Premier League youth prospect, Chelsea spent £15m to sign the Boca Juniors centre-half in the summer.
According to transfer journalist Luca Bendoni, the next prodigy of Gianluca di Marzio, the 19-year old has ‘virtually agreed’ to sign for Marseille on loan for the rest of the season.
The Ligue 1 outfit is covering the young defender’s wages until the summer, but there is no option or obligation to buy.
Chelsea have decided that he needs games in preparation for next season and Marseille have won the race for his signature.
Atalanta and Borussia Dortmund were both interested, however, Bendoni has told Rangers News that he didn’t hear anything about a potential move to Ibrox.
Why Anselmino is the right profile but the wrong position
Anselmino is the perfect example of the type of loan signing that Rangers should be making, if they have to.
It might not have worked out for Fabio Silva, but he has shown that he was a good enough player, just that playing in his preferred position as a central striker might have been more beneficial – had injuries allowed.
The Argentina youth international might well have been on a list of possible options until Rafael Fernandes was secured, with an option to buy.
Given the shortages elsewhere, the arrival of Fernandes and the progress of Clinton Nsiala, the last thing Rangers fans would want to see on deadline day is resources being used to fund a Premier League outcast who isn’t needed.
