Croatian international midfielder Lovro Majer has sparked online rumours of a move to Rangers after his latest post on his official Instagram account.
The highly regarded midfielder posted an image of him in training gear belonging to current club Dinamo Zagreb saying: “ready for new challenges”.
With the £6m rated midfielder having been linked to Rangers throughout the window [Richard Wilson], it has had plenty of fans putting two and two together.
Interesting to see Lovro Majer post on Instagram that he’s ready for a new challenge. Signing number 3 tomorrow? Am I excited for transfer deadline day, you bet I am @JimWhite 🇬🇧

Wouldn’t turn down Majer too, mind you.
He looks class, cant’t wait to see him in person, exactly what we need right now.
A striker next?

Unfortunately, they may well have got five.
After Rangers fans flooded the talented midfielder’s Instagram post with comments pleading with the player to move to Ibrox, he changed the caption.
The post now reads “Ready for the start”.
This may well be a nod to the Croatian footballing season restarting after a winter break with Majer’s Dinamo Zagreb side set to return to action against Slaven Bepulo this weekend.
Majer is also set for an increased role in Dinamo’s squad with the Champions League group stage side selling star man Dani Olmo in the January window.
The Spanish playmaker moved to RB Leipzig for £17m [Football.London] paving the way for Majer to take an increased role in the side, in line with earlier claims made in the Balkans [Filip Mishov].So whilst Rangers fans might be getting excited about a potential move for the Croatian international, it does appear short-lived.
Rather than moving to Ibrox, Majer appears to be getting excited about establishing himself as a first-team player at Dinamo.
