Celtic failure Olivier Ntcham is the latest casualty as the French midfielder reportedly has his contract terminated at Parkhead in the aftermath of Rangers halting 10IAR.
The Ibrox side have seen off plenty of big names at Parkhead this season as Neil Lennon, Peter Lawwell and Scott Brown all leave under a dark cloud caused by 55.
Midfielder Ntcham cost Celtic an incredible £4.5m back in 2017 and his contract has been terminated despite having a year left to run, according to Pete O’Rourke.
As the Banter Years continue to roll on at Celtic, this has shades of Carlos Pena only double the price.
The fact they’ve made this monumental loss after keeping Ntcham around to try and halt 55 makes this all the funnier.
On top of Ntcham, after years of Rangers fans being told this Celtic team were worth millions, it’s being dismantled for peanuts.
Both Kris Ajer and Odsonne Edouard – who were over-hyped continuously by a willing press – have a year left on their deals and are expected to leave for knockdown fees.
They certainly won’t be exiting Glasgow for the £25m or the £40m we’ve heard several Celtic fan voices value them at respectively.
Meanwhile, over at Ibrox, Champions Rangers are set to command considerable fees for any of their top talents with Borna Barisic, Glen Kamara and Ryan Kent all reportedly interesting clubs around Europe.
Rangers are clear that if anyone wants to sign their players then they’ll need to cough up – something made considerably easier by the fact they actually want to be at Ibrox!
