Rangers playmaker Ianis Hagi has been linked with a shock move to Aberdeen despite only just signing a new Ibrox contract last season.
According to Sport in the player’s homeland, Aberdeen are one of four clubs who’re tailing Ianis Hagi ahead of next season in a claim which will shock Rangers supporters.

The report claims that the Dons join Serie A side US Lecce, La Liga Segunda club Espanyol and Turkish giants Galatasaray in being interested in striking a loan-to-buy for the 24-year-old.
According to the report, Rangers would demand €4m (£3.5m) to sign the player permanently at the end of the deal in a surprise claim which has emerged back in Romania.
Ianis Hagi linked with shock move to Aberdeen
The Gers star, 24, was back in training this week alongside his teammates as he looks to rebuild his career following a devastating cruciate ligament which he suffered in January 2022.
Playing in a Scottish Cup game against Stirling Albion, the attacking midfielder has seen the last 18 months of his career devastated by the issue and is only now beginning to return.
Seen back in a Rangers jersey towards the end of last season, Ianis Hagi’s absence has been a tough one for the Ibrox fans to take amid an awful run of luck with injury issues in Govan.
The links to Aberdeen also come despite Ianis Hagi only having signed a new contract with Rangers last season, his previous deal ticking into its final few months.

Rangers initially signed the playmaker on loan from KRC Genk in 2020 and Ianis Hagi quickly set about making an impression, inspiring the club to that stunning 3-2 comeback victory over Braga in the Europa League.
Since then Hagi has gone on to make 96 appearances in total for Rangers, scoring 12 goals, and the attacking midfielder was emerging as a key player for the side prior to the injury.
As he works his way back to full fitness, perhaps Ianis Hagi’s future may lie elsewhere with Rangers looking to stop the rot, but you’d be a brave man to bet – even amid the reports – that the talented attacking midfielder’s next destination will be Aberdeen.
Who knows, against the backdrop of the club’s failed transfer of one £5m playmaker, perhaps Hagi can recapture his best at Ibrox.
